Board of Directors Meeting Official Minutes

January 18, 2024 held via Zoom

 

The meeting was called to order at 6:38pm by President Karen Interiano Sanchez.

 

Board Members present to constitute a quorum: Karen Interiano Sanchez, President; Lloyd Singh, 

Secretary; Olgine Brevil, Director.

Management present: Lynne Sansoucie, LCAM, CMCA, AMS.

 

Karen Interiano Sanchez made a motion, seconded by Lloyd Singh, to appoint Tobias Macbeth to the 

vacant position on the Board of Directors. The motion carried unanimously.

 

The Board of Directors reviewed the minutes of the November 18, 2023 Board meeting. Tobias Macbeth 

made a motion, seconded by Karen Interiano Sanchez, to approve the minutes as submitted. The motion 

carried unanimously.

 

Officer Ryan Lyttle of Miramar Police Department made a presentation. He advised that crime in 

Franklin Farms HOA has not increased. City of Miramar is moving forward with having Flock Safety 

install 140 cameras around the city. They encourage the Association to install license plate 

readers at the entrances.

Karen Interiano Sanchez made a motion, seconded by Tobias Macbeth, to appoint Chris Mckie to a 

vacant position on the Board of Directors. The motion carried unanimously.

Karen Interiano Sanchez gave the President’s report. She reported that she had finally been able to 

get in touch with someone about the lake and they (Broward Drainage) are going to start treating 

it.

 

Lynne Sansoucie gave the Treasurer’s report as of December 31, 2023.

 

The floor was opened to the members. There were two members complaining that the community should 

still be self-managed or be dissolved.

 

Lloyd Singh’s resignation is official as of the close of this meeting.

 

There being no further business Karen Interiano Sanchez made a motion, seconded by Olgine Brevil, 

to adjourn the meeting at 7:45pm.
